Paths Towards Organizational Cultural Competence

This e-study examines the importance of cultural competence in human services, using the settings of nonprofits serving youth experiencing homelessness to illustrate the significance of culture in service provision. The e-study presents four frameworks for cultural competence and illustrates how two organizations incorporate cultural competence into their work. Further, this e-study examines the issues of assessment and implementation of cultural competence models.
